Dr Katherine Moir

Background
Dr Moir studied at the University of Southampton and qualified as a doctor in 2009. She completed her postgraduate training locally and has been working as a GP in the Basingstoke area since 2014. She has built up her specialist knowledge and skills in women's health by obtaining the Diploma of the Royal Collage of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
Dr Moir is qualified to fit contraceptive coils and implants and has over 10 years experience of doing so. She also currently working at a sexual health clinic, in addition to her general practice role, managing complex sexual health and contraceptive issues.

Dr Moir has a notable specialist interest in menopause and HRT. Her expertise in these areas allows her to provide comprehensive and informed care to women experiencing menopausal transitions and considering HRT options. Patients can benefit from her in-depth knowledge and tailored guidance for managing menopausal symptoms and making informed decisions regarding hormone therapy.
