Am I eligible for weight loss injections ?

We may prescribe Mounjaro together with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for weight loss and to help keep your weight under control if you are between ages 18 to 75 and who has:

A body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m² or greater (obesity) or

A BMI of at least 27 kg/m² but less than 30 kg/m² (overweight) and weight-related health problems such as:

  • Pre-diabetes

  • High blood pressure

  • Abnormal levels of fats in the blood

  • Obstructive sleep apnoea 

  • History of heart attack, stroke or blood vessel problems

We are unable to offer weight loss injections for diabetic patients as your overall management is best maintained by your diabetic team. 

Mounjaro

Mounjaro is a once-weekly injection for weight loss and weight maintenance in adults. It contains an active substance called tirzepatide.

Mounjaro Price Plan

  • Each pen contains 4 doses which will cover 4 weeks of treatment. Each pen price is as below. 

  • The starting dose is 2.5mg once a week for 4 weeks and then you move to the 5mg dose. 

  • Further dose increases are individualised and your clinician will guide you at your monthly reviews.
